Reconciliation

Australia’s cultural climate has been through many phases through its short history, with Indigenous and non-Indigenous people at times struggling to co-exist.

In the 21st century Australians are working to become a strongly reconciled population, comprising of people from diverse cultural groups who can celebrate their individuality as well as their differences.

Following the National Apology on February 13th, 2008, reconciliation has become the focus for the Australian government, business and average Australians. It is up to all of us to work toward a better Australia, and PALS gives young people the opportunity to make their own contribution toward reconciliation.
